Aspiring to work in a customer service field, Betsy began her career as a travel agent in Pennsylvania, setting the stage for upward mobility to Dead Solid Simulations, Inc., manufacturers of golf simulators. Within a year she was promoted to Sales Coordinator, overseeing 13 distributors worldwide, giving her the opportunity to travel and negotiate both domestic and international contracts. Born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, she has vacationed in Myrtle Beach since 1993. Realizing that Surfside Beach was where she wanted to live, she obtained her South Carolina real estate license, and converted her beach home into a permanent residence to become an integral part of the Rose Real Estate sales team. Since joining Rose Real Estate in October of 2000, Betsy's accomplishments have included being recognized as Sales Agent of the Month multiple times. Most recently she achieved the honor of Sales Agent of the Year in Melody Gardens (new construction) for the years 2002, 2003 and 2004. She attributes this success to having played an integral part in designing one of the models, the Magnolia C, and having the opportunity to work with a company that allowed her to be hands-on for the satisfaction of her customers.
