Kay, a native of Gastonia, North Carolina, graduated in 1969 from Campbell University with a B.A. degree in Social Science. In 1980, Kay vacated her position as an educator in the North Carolina secondary school system to pursue what has since become a successful 20-year career in real estate. Kay has often been recognized for outstanding achievements in the real estate industry, not the least of which is the Realtor Image Award awarded by the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors. In 1989, Kay joined the staff of Rose Real Estate, and within a few years, accepted her current position as Broker-In-Charge.
