Kay, a native of Gastonia, North Carolina, graduated in 1969 from Campbell University with a B.A. degree in Social Science.
In 1980, Kay vacated her position as an educator in the North Carolina secondary school system to pursue what has since become a successful 20-year career in real estate. Kay has often been recognized for outstanding achievements in the real estate industry, not the least of which is the Realtor Image Award awarded by the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors.
In 1989, Kay joined the staff of Rose Real Estate, and within a few years, accepted her current position as Broker-In-Charge.

Laura & Mickey Bunts along with their 3 children, left the Corporate arena to make a "life transfer" to the beach in April of 2000. Their decision was easy because their hearts had already planted seeds in a place called Oceanside Village. Having been frequent visitors and eventual homeowners since 1996, their love for the lifestyle and people of Oceanside was the deciding factor.
Laura Bunts has received "Agent of the Year"
awards each year since 2003 for her efforts at
several individual communities including Bermuda
Bay, Tupelo Bay Golf Villas and Bermuda Gardens
as well as receiving the overall "Agent of the
Year" award for Rose Real Estate for 6
consecutive years. In December 2006, Laura received the J. Ray Costin “Cut the Mustard” award presented for overall service and dedication.
With a desire to serve along with a genuine love of people, Laura recently assumed the position of Assistant Sales Manager for Rose Real Estate and divides her time between Oceanside Village, Tupelo Bay and Bermuda Gardens. Laura actively participates on the sales line assisting as many people as possible, plant the seeds of their heart!
Laura and her family live in the Bermuda Bay section of Oceanside Village and are often seen visiting with friends and neighbors during their nightly golf cart rides throughout the Village.

Aspiring to work in a customer service field, Betsy began her career as a travel agent in Pennsylvania, setting the stage for upward mobility to Dead Solid Simulations, Inc., manufacturers of golf simulators. Within a year she was promoted to Sales Coordinator, overseeing 13 distributors worldwide, giving her the opportunity to travel and negotiate both domestic and international contracts.
Born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, she has vacationed in Myrtle Beach since 1993. Realizing that Surfside Beach was where she wanted to live, she obtained her South Carolina real estate license, and converted her beach home into a permanent residence to become an integral part of the Rose Real Estate sales team.
Since joining Rose Real Estate in October of 2000, Betsy's accomplishments have included being recognized as Sales Agent of the Month multiple times. Most recently she achieved the honor of Sales Agent of the Year in Melody Gardens (new construction) for the years 2002, 2003 and 2004. She attributes this success to having played an integral part in designing one of the models, the Magnolia C, and having the opportunity to work with a company that allowed her to be hands-on for the satisfaction of her customers.
